Eutoxita - Trainwreck

Described by the artist as an album that sounds like you are scanning through stations or hitting shuffle on a multi CD changer, it is difficult to disagree or come up with a better description than that of with James B. White himself. Opening up with an instrumental is always a risk but in the case of "It Didn't Move So I Ate it", it purely sets the scene for the unorthodox musical journey which you are about to embark. The ten songs of varying length, style and genre are knitted together like a patchwork quilt, "Walnut Hill" was apparently penned for the end title sequence in a college film and maybe should have brought the curtain down on this release, however it finds itself floating three tracks from the end. An interesting array of individual projects rather than an album that flows from beginning to end, none the less there are some decent tunes to be found.
